Baruch College Launches the Zicklin School of Business Research Paper Series

Baruch College announced today the launch of the Zicklin School of Business Research Paper Series in collaboration with the Social Science Research Network (SSRN). This Series allows the Zicklin School of Business to share the latest studies, research and findings from its faculty, who are thought leaders and experts in their fields, and to stimulate discussion on a wide range of business-related topics, such as accounting, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, international business, management, marketing, information technology, data science and analytics, business law, and real estate.

The inaugural issue the Zicklin School of Business Research Paper Series features the following topics:
- Silencing Whistleblowers by Contract
- The Role of Information from International Bank Lending in Mutual Fund Equity Investing
- How Task Perceptions Matter on Micro-Task Crowdsourcing Platforms
- Impact of Top Management Leadership Styles on ERP Assimilation and the Role of Organizational Learning
- Emotions and Sustainability: A Literary Genre Based Framework for Environmental Sustainability Management Education
Dr. Qing Hu, editor of the series and senior associate dean for academic affairs and innovation at the Zicklin School of Business, noted that high quality academic research is critical to examining and understanding the complexities of today’s business environment, and can contribute to innovation and improvements in the public and private sectors.
“Our faculty are continuously conducting research that have significant and important impacts on business and society,” said Dr. Hu. “The findings of academic research are frequently of great interest to the business community. We hope that with this series we can provide an open, free, and valuable resource for our constituents, especially the media.”
