    Share

Baruch College was named among the Northeast’s top 20 higher education institutions by Washington Monthly in its one-of-a-kind ranking for schools that help “students of modest means attain marketable degrees” and get the most for their money.

In the 2022 “Best Bang for the Buck Colleges” in the region,  Baruch placed:

    • #7 among public institutions
    • #17 among public and private institutions

According to Washington Monthly, it is “more crucial than ever for colleges to provide high-quality, affordable educations to students from modest financial backgrounds.”

To determine the 2022 list, Washington Monthly focuses on factors such as social mobility, public service, and research, based on publicly available data collected by the federal government. An explanation of its methodology is available here.
