“Graduates from Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business are consistently in high demand,” said Baruch College President S. The Impact of a Baruch Education
Based on BGI data, the report states that Baruch graduates enjoy an average annual pay premium of nearly $21,000 within the first decade of their careers, outperforming the median college graduate with similar experience.
The Journal interviewed Baruch alumna Gabriela Guaita Saba, a 30-year-old vice president at Goldman Sachs, who pointed to Baruch’s partnership with high-profile companies as a key reason for attending. “I knew nothing about finance or Goldman,” she says. “I got to know them through the student programs at Baruch.”
New York City as a Success Amplifier
Located in the heart of New York City, Baruch College leverages its strategic location and partnerships with leading companies to offer its students unparalleled access to internships and job opportunities. The College’s rigorous curriculum and emphasis on practical skills further prepare students for success in competitive fields.
The success of Baruch graduates underscores the importance of industry connections, practical experience, and the strategic advantages offered by the College’s urban setting.
This report signifies a shift in the higher education landscape, where the value of a degree is increasingly measured by tangible career outcomes, challenging students and educators alike to rethink the pathways to professional success.
