For the second straight year, Baruch claims the #1 spot in New York and #3 in the North region among public institutions, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 rankings.
In recognition of the College’s steadfast commitment to social mobility, Baruch ranks as the #2 institution among both public and private colleges in the region.
Overall, the College secured the #11 position out of 165 colleges in the North that were ranked by U.S. News & World Report.
U.S. News’ “2025 Best Colleges” rankings include factors such as first-year retention rates, outcome measures like graduation rates, graduate indebtedness, and post-graduate earnings, as well as peer assessment surveys made by top administrators at other institutions.
