Baruch Named a Best Value College for 2024 by The Princeton Review

    June 25, 2024

    Share

Baruch College was named a “Best Value College” by The Princeton Review for providing a high return-on-investment (ROI).

Baruch ranked #2 in New York and #24 across the U.S. among public colleges, earning an ROI rating score of 91/99.

According to The Princeton Review, the 209 schools who made the 2024 best value ranking have three exceptional features: stellar academics, affordable cost, and strong career prospects for graduates. The 209 best value institutions comprise about 8 percent of four-year colleges across the U.S., The Princeton Review said.

Baruch’s alumni network, with more than 165,000 worldwide, placed #17 among public colleges in the U.S.

Students surveyed by The Princeton Review said the College “is tied with many companies” in New York, which “creates even more opportunities for internships as well as job opportunities.” Another student mentioned there is “an impressive number of career developing programs on campus that are free of charge and readily available to all students,” and one survey said, “it is clear that the professors at Baruch have first-hand experience in the material they are teaching to students.”

This ranking adds to Baruch’s list of top rankings and recognitions highlighting how Baruch provides students with a great education and excellent career preparation at a relatively affordable price.

    Methodology

The Princeton Review’s “Best Value Colleges” list is based on institution surveys from more than 650 administrators and student surveys which assessed academics, cost, financial aid to graduation rates, and student debt. The education services company also factored in data from PayScale.com’s surveys of alumni about their starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction.
