Baruch’s Zicklin School Named “Leading School for Real Estate Education” by Top Industry Publications

The Commercial Property Executive/Multi-Housing News “Leading Schools for Real Estate Education Index” highlights the number of program-dedicated faculty and job placement rates for graduates.
The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College is a “Leading School for Real Estate Education,” according to a recent list of top colleges from Commercial Property Executive and Multi-Housing News.
The flagship industry publications, which together cover both commercial and residential real estate, have published a list of top schools annually since 2012. The 2021 edition includes an additional index focused on “Leading Schools for Multifamily Real Estate,” and Baruch was included on this list as well.
The Zicklin School’s William Newman Department of Real Estate is renowned for its curriculum and insights into current trends and preparing student to excel in the industry. Zicklin’s program also offers mentoring for students and career-related events that offer unparalleled opportunities to network with New York City’s and the nation’s leading firms in the field.
Students Set for Successful Careers
The 2021 Leading Schools for Education Index was based on surveys conducted by researchers at Yardi Matrix, a leading commercial real estate data firm. The schools included in this year’s list offered coursework that “covers a broad spectrum” and “demonstrated the ability to set students up for successful careers after graduation.” Also considered was the number of full-time, dedicated faculty teaching real estate-related courses.
