Dressed with their finest business suits and newly printed resumes, Baruch undergraduates networked with representatives from more than 70 companies and organizations at the Starr Career Development Center’s (SCDC) annual spring Job & Internship Fair held on Feb. 2. The room echoed of elevator pitches—both from students and recruiters—with the event providing opportunities for one-on-one conversations.

More than 900 undergraduate students, representing over 25 majors, attended the event this year. While the majority of the attendees were juniors and seniors, participation from first-year students almost doubled from 43 to 80, as more and more companies are recruiting undergraduates who are in their first and second year.

    Looking to Baruch for Talent

Numerous companies, who regularly recruit for talent at Baruch, attended the fair, including Deloitte, Enterprise Holdings, Inroads, NYU Langone Health, Peace Corps, RSM and Target. This year, the Center added 21 new companies to the employer roster, such as BBC Worldwide Americas, Cathay Bank, Dealer Tire, Great Oaks Charter School, HomeAdvisor, RealFoundations, NY County DA’s Office, and Uncommon Schools. In addition to that, about 30% of employers, or 54 company representatives, were Baruch alumni.

Here is a full list of all employers at the fair.
