July 25, 2023
The men’s and women’s swimming teams were named for the sixth straight year to the Scholar All-America Team List with the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The women (3.07 GPA, 12 student-athletes) and men (3.33 GPA, 15 student-athletes) each recorded impressive team GPAs to earn the academic distinction.
Each team was required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Spring 2023 academic semester.
“Having both the men and women’s team achieving this level of scholastic success, as well as coupled with this past year’s swimming success, is a testament to all their hard work and dedication both in and out of the pool.” said Head Coach Charles Lampasso.
The swimming program has won 14 CUNYAC Titles (Women 7, Men 7) since 2002.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches.
The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
