The Princeton Review Ranks Baruch College Among Nation’s Best for Value, ROI, and Career Success

Baruch College continues to rise as a national leader in delivering high-quality, value-added education with exceptional outcomes—earning a spot on The Princeton Review’s prestigious list of “Best Value Colleges for 2025.”
Out of 209 top-performing institutions across the U.S., Baruch delivers its impressive return on investment (ROI), robust alumni network, and strong career services support—key metrics that underscore the College’s commitment to affordability and student success.
Career Placement: Best in New York
In a standout accomplishment, Baruch is the only college in New York to make the “Top 20 Best Career Placement” list among public schools, coming in at #20 nationally. This ranking reflects high student satisfaction with career services and strong alumni salary data from PayScale.com.
According to The Princeton Review, the colleges on its Best Value list “don’t require students to mortgage their futures” and instead offer a launchpad to meaningful, well-paying careers. Baruch’s Starr Center reports recent graduates landed positions in the city’s and nation’s top firms such as Accenture, Bank of America, Bloomberg, CUNY, Deloitte, EY, Fiserv, IBM, KPMG, META, MTA, S&P Global, Success Academy Charter Schools, Target, UBS, and Weill Cornell.
This year, Starr Center staff also earned multiple awards and recognitions for its innovative efforts helping students get career ready.
Top-Tier ROI and Upward Momentum
Baruch received a ROI rating of 91 out of 99— climbing five spots from last year—to rank #19 among public colleges across the nation. The Princeton Review calculates this rating using more than 40 data points, derived from surveys conducted in 2024–2025, measuring key factors like academic rigor, financial aid, graduation rates, and career readiness.
Student surveys taken by The Princeton Review said Baruch College’s education system is “well organized and up to date with the current world,” and Baruch is tied with many companies in New York, which “creates even more opportunities for internships as well as job opportunities.”
Global Alumni Network, Close-Knit Connections
Baruch’s extensive alumni network—180,000 strong and counting—ranked #16 among public colleges, up one position from 2024. Students cited strong alumni engagement and visibility on campus as key contributors to this recognition.
The College’s Office of Alumni Relations and Volunteer Engagement hosts a yearlong calendar of events consisting of cultural and social programs, mentoring opportunities, career and professional development webinars, and mixers for a variety of affinity networks. Regional events span from California to Florida, Paris to Hong Kong.
