Methodology
U.S. News & World Report surveyed in fall 2020 and early 2021 all 486 institutions with master’s-level business programs in the United States accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. To calculate an overall score, the ranking indicators used the following factors: quality assessment, placement, and student selectivity. The rankings of public affairs programs are based solely on peer assessment survey results sent in fall 2021 and early 2022 to deans, directors and department chairs representing 270 master’s programs in public affairs and administration.
