Baruch College is among the “2024 Best Graduate Schools” by U.S. News & World Report for its graduate programs at the Zicklin School of Business and the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs.

For the second consecutive year, Zicklin’s Full-time MBA program rose in the national rankings—jumping 13 positions to #49 among 148 public and private institutions ranked for the 2024 list, after advancing 15 positions in 2023. Zicklin’s part-time (Evening) MBA program placed #43 on a list of 299 institutions across the United States.

The Marxe School’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) ranked #53 among 269 MPA programs, putting it in the top 20 percentile nationwide among public and private colleges. For the fourth straight year, Marxe’s specializations in nonprofit management, public management, and urban policy made the list.

Zicklin School of Business: #1 in New York State among Public Institutions

For the fifth consecutive year, the Zicklin School of Business’s Full-Time MBA, Part-Time (Evening) MBA, and accounting graduate programs earned #1 placements among public institutions in New York City and New York State on U.S. News’ rankings.

“Zicklin’s top rankings for both the Full-Time and Part-Time MBA degree programs confirm that its students are ‘New York Smart. World Class Ready,” said Paquita Davis-Friday, PhD, Interim Dean of the Zicklin School of Business.

Davis-Friday added, “All of Zicklin’s graduate programs provide a career-focused, innovative curriculum with flexible scheduling for working professionals. Our students find the quality, value, and career outcomes of the programs to be exceptional.”

Marxe School of Public and International Affairs: Propelling Future Public Policy Leaders

According to Dean Sherry Ryan, the Marxe School’s graduate education provides an invaluable foundation allowing student to propel into policy leadership roles in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. The Marxe degree programs invite students to think critically about today’s most pressing societal issues and assess alternative policy solutions in terms of equity and justice.

“Our phenomenal rankings reflect the true quality and dedication of our faculty, students, and staff. The Marxe School is on the move to advance public service and leadership, equitable urban policies, and nonprofit management in New York City and beyond,” Ryan said.

“And we do all of this while raising up first generation and minority students, a truly inspiring accomplishment.”
