Among 393 institutions evaluated in the region, Baruch ranked in the top 5 percent of both public and private universities and colleges.
The College also earned standout marks for access (#5) and affordability (#9), underscoring its success in expanding opportunity and helping students achieve strong outcomes at a reasonable cost.

A Year of National Recognition
The Washington Monthly recognition adds to Baruch’s strong performance in national rankings in this year alone.
TIME placed the College #2 among New York public colleges and #13 nationally for student outcomes and return on investment, while Niche ranked Baruch as the nation’s top public institution for value.
Baruch is also among just 17 public colleges and universities nationwide—and the only in the Northeast—to receive Money’s highest rating of five-stars.
Last year, Washington Monthly named Baruch #1 among public colleges in the nation for “Best Bang for the Buck,” and #4 overall among 369 public and private institutions in the Northeast.
