Zicklin School of Business Professor Lilac Nachum Joins Academy of International Business as a Fellow
Organization is World’s Largest Association of International Business ScholarsAugust 26, 2019
Lilac Nachum, PhD, a professor at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, recently joined the Academy of International Business (AIB) as a fellow, a distinguished group of scholars recognized for their outstanding contributions to both AIB and the international business field as a whole.
The AIB is the world’s largest association of scholars and specialists in the field of international business and international policy with more than 3,300 members from over 90 countries.
Professor Nachum’s selection as an AIB Fellow represents the second time the Zicklin School of Business has an affiliation with the prestigious international academy. Jean Boddewyn, PhD, an emeritus professor of marketing and international business at Zicklin, is among the founders of the Academy—established 60 years ago. Currently, Dr. Boddewyn serves as an historian of the AIB and is also a fellow.
“The Zicklin School joins a small number of business schools represented by more than one AIB Fellow,” Nachum noted. “This achievement is even less common among public business schools, and speaks to Baruch’s excellency in the area of international business.”
