The Zicklin School’s MBA program has been ranked #9 among U.S. public institutions on LinkedIn’s 2025 list of Top MBA programs.

Among all U.S. MBA programs, public and private, Zicklin ranked #36, a significant improvement from LinkedIn’s 2024 ranking of #46. Worldwide, the professional networking platform ranked Zicklin’s MBA at #80.

Five criteria—hiring and demand, advancement potential, network strength, leadership potential, and gender diversity—were used to determine rankings. The metrics used by LinkedIn for each category track, respectively, how graduates from recent years (2019-2024) fare in the job market based on job placement and recruiter interest; promotions among recent cohorts and how quickly all past alumni reach senior leadership levels; how connected alumni are to each other and how quickly the network expands post-graduation; rates of post-MBA experience with entrepreneurship and C-suite roles; and gender parity.

“This ranking by LinkedIn, a professional networking platform, underscores what the Zicklin community has long known about our distinctive strengths,” said Bruce W. Weber, PhD, Willem Kooyker Dean of the Zicklin School. “The rigor of our academics combined with our New York City location, close connections to industry, and deeply loyal and successful alumni all combine to make our MBA graduates highly attractive to top companies, where they regularly advance to senior roles.”
